Liam Sheedy to act as advisor to new Offaly hurling boss Eamonn Kelly
Liam Sheedy is to act in an advisory capacity for the Offaly hurlers under the management of Eamonn Kelly, whose appointment has been approved by the County Board.
Sheedy chaired a committee to find a successor to Brian Whelahan, who stepped down earlier in the summer, and now he has agreed to help out in the background. His role will be in a training capacity and he won't be involved on match days.
Sheedy quit inter-county management not long after guiding Tipperary to an All-Ireland title in 2010.
