John Kiely has been ratified as the new manager of the Limerick hurlers at a meeting of the county board tonight.
Kiely led the under-21 team to All-Ireland success in 2015 and will be in charge of the Treaty men for the next three years.
A five-man committee was created to find a successor to TJ Ryan and Kiely received unanimous backing at the meeting.
As part of his backroom team, coach Paul Kinnerk will come in to assist Kiely, while Joe O'Connor joins as strength and conditioning coach. Jimmy Quilty will be appointed as one of two selectors, with the second still yet to be decided upon.
