Henry Shefflin: Foxes give every team in every code and licence to dream

More than once before, during and after a local league match on Tuesday night last our manager in Ballyhale, Colm Bonnar, invoked the achievement of Leicester City in winning the Premier League title the previous night.
I can imagine Colm wasn't the only manager or coach drawing on the 'King Power' analogy during the week.
That's the type of impact their success is having and will continue to have on sports teams just about everywhere.
In Kilkenny the one word that Brian Cody used repeatedly was 'spirit'. He never said 'we'll aim to win this title or that title' but he always spoke of creating an indomitable spirit that couldn't be broken.
Watching the Leicester players basking in their glory on the Tuesday morning encapsulated for me the spirit that underpinned their achievement. For sure, you need to have good players. But a willing spirit is undoubtedly the greatest force any dressing-room can have.
Leicester have provided a pathway for even the best of teams in any sport that reflects the benefits of spirit and togetherness.
They have renewed everyone's right to dream and be ambitious.
