MacCumhaills won the Munster Cup for only the second time, their first since 2010, as goals by David White and Aaron McAuley sealed the deal, while captain Lee Henderson was masterful.

He sailed over 10 points from 12 attempts as MacCumhaills loosened Burt's stranglehold on Donegal hurling.

Late in the first-half, Conor Harkin had fired in a goal that had Burt within two points, 1-7 to 1-5, at the break.

However, three minutes into the second-half, McAuley wonderfully found the bottom corner of the net as the Twin Towns side inched clear to take the prize.
