It has been a busy week for Galway since ending their All-Ireland final drought and the victorious squad were treated to a pretty cool moment at The Sportsground last night to cap it all off.

Michael Donoghue's men were Connacht's guests of honor for the westerners comprehensive PRO 14 win over the Southern Kings, with the Galway manager joined by captain David Burke and Joe Canning as well as a host of other All-Ireland champions.

The hurlers were given a rousing half-time reception as Burke paraded the Liam MacCarthy Cup, and were treated to some good rugby too, with Kieran Keane's men running out 32-10 winners.

Canning was actually a keen rugby player earlier in his career, and even showed off some of his skills on The Sportsground pitch.

Here are some of the best photos from what was a great moment for Connacht sports fans.
