Dolan rescues Four Roads
Four Roads 0-17 Oran 3-8
Four Roads produced a magnificent second-half comeback in Athleague to keep alive their hopes of a ninth straight title.
Goals from David Ryan and Thomas Fetherston in first-half injury time gave Oran a seven-point lead at the interval.
But Four Roads rolled up their sleeves in tough conditions to erode the gap, and free-taker David Dolan eventually levelled deep into injury-time after substitute Noel Fallon was dragged to the ground in front of goal.
Fetherston grabbed an early goal, but Four Roads replied through Shane Curley, Cathal Dolan and David Dolan before Oran's superb two-goal salvo.
Crucially, Oran were kept scoreless for the first 16 minutes of the second half, and the champions chipped away, cutting it to three through David Dolan (two frees), Curley ('65) and Cathal Dolan before Mike Dwyer gave Oran some breathing space.
But Four Roads kept plugging away manfully, and Dolan secured the replay.
