Dungourney accelerated away from Fenor in the second half to become the eighth Cork club to lift the Munster junior hurling title at Mallow.
Jack Griffin's fierce strike broke Fenor's resistance after the sides were tied six times. Ryan Denny shot eight second-half points and 11 in total for the green-and-gold.
Fenor devised a sweeper system from the start with Anthony Kiely helping out his half-back line. The teams were deadlocked after the opening half on five points apiece.
Dead-ball specialists Denny and Ben Gallagher (Fenor) accounted for three points apiece.
The Cork champions were guilty of eight wides, and indeed Fenor got their noses in front for the first time after the restart courtesy of Gallagher (0-7 to 0-6).
But Dungourney struck a decisive blow eight minutes into the second half when Jack Griffin goaled.
Brian Ronayne's side reeled off 1-6 without reply to bury their opponents, while Gallagher received his marching orders on a second yellow card with two minutes to go.
