Crowley inspires Exiles to history
Lancashire 2-22 Fermanagh 0-15
Cork native Ronan Crowley bagged 2-14 to inspire Lancashire to their first win in the competition.
Both goals came in the first half in Manchester, and they were the difference between the sides at the break. The Exiles then pulled away in the third quarter.
Fermanagh had played some good hurling in the first half with full-back Matty Teague twice getting forward to split the posts. Sean Corrigan was also on target along with Shea Curran, Declan McGarry and John Duffy.
But Lancashire were worthy winners, with Crowley ably supported by wing-back Nathan Unwin, as well as Darragh O'Brien and David Cahalane.
Goalkeeper Vincent Morrisey was cool under pressure as his side sealed a momentous win.
