Coulter brace inspires Armagh victory over 12-man Down
Armagh 4-12 Down 0-17
Armagh defeated rivals Down for the second time this season to book a place against Antrim in the Ulster SHC final.
Down were reduced to 12 men late in the second half in what was a feisty contest at the Athletic Grounds.
Goals from Declan Coulter (2), captain Cahal Carvill and Conor Corvan won the game as for large periods the Orchardmen played second fiddle to Down.
Down already defeated Armagh in the opening round of the League, but crucially the Orchard hurlers won the National League Division 2B crown.
Despite bagging 1-1 in the opening four minutes, Armagh were held scoreless for 28 minutes but still finished the half with Coulter's stunning goal.
