Mullahoran St Joseph's staged a dramatic recovery to thwart defending champions Cootehill Celtic in a thrilling Cavan SHC final at Kingspan/Breffni Park.
Cootehill enjoyed a handsome 13-point lead at half-time but were left hanging on at the death after the challengers netted in the dregs of the game.
A 10th minute goal by Joshua Crowe and two points from Caoimhín Carney had the much more experienced Mullahoran men in trouble early on.
The lights stayed stuck on green for the Celts with Aidan Fizpatrick grabbing a second goal after 16 minutes when Mullahoran failed to deal with John Carney's high delivery into the square.
Mullahoran broke their duck with a Luke O'Dea free (19) only for Caoimhín Carney to put Fitzpatrick through for a third Cootehill goal to leave them 3-7 to 0-3 ahead at the interval.
A superb Caoimhín Carney point (58) looked like the insurance point for Cootehill but Ryan Smith netted in the dying seconds to give Mullahoran a deserved draw.
