The AIG Fenway Hurling Classic has been expanded to four teams with Dublin and Galway set to be joined by Clare and Tipperary at Boston's Fenway Park on November 19, the Irish Independent can reveal.

The Dubs and the Tribesmen clashed at Boston's home of baseball back in 2015 in the Super 11s format of the game.

And they will face off-once more with their game to be followed by a clash between the reigning league and All-Ireland champions. An official announcement is to be made in Boston this afternoon.

The 2015 game was watched by 28,000 in Fenway with the game notable for a skirmish that erupted between the sides.

It was the first hurling match played there in 61 years with organiser confirming their intention to bring a similar event to the venue earlier this year.
