Kilkenny have been left reeling with the news that Jackie Tyrrell is set to miss their All-Ireland semi-final clash with Waterford with a damaged foot.
The James Stephens man twisted his ankle in training over the weekend and a MRI scan revealed he is set to be out of action for at least four weeks. Tyrrell is in a cast, with Kilkenny PRO Seamus Reade expecting the Cats to have a clearer picture at their media briefing tomorrow.
"There are tests being done to gauge the damage and we will have a further update at our media event on Wednesday," Reade said.
Richie Power is also set to miss out.
