All-Star Callanan has recovered from a hand injury while Kieran Bergin is also in contention to make an appearance.

However, Michael Ryan must plan without Jason Forde who picked up a hamstring injury in UL's defeat to Mary I in an epic independent.ie Fitzgibbon Cup final that saw two periods of extra-time played. Tipp are also without James Barry due to a foot injury.

Elsewhere, the referees for the All-Ireland club finals on St Patrick's Day have been confirmed.

Cork's Conor Lane will take charge of the football decider between Dublin's Ballyboden St Enda's and Mayo's Castlebar Mitchels.

Another Cork whistler, Diarmuid Kirwan, will be the man in the middle for the clash between Limerick's Na Piarsaigh and Antrim kingpins Cushendall.

The hurling throws in at 2.0 with the football following at 4.0. Both games will be shown live on TG4.
