Bray Emmets have completed the Wicklow senior hurling three-in-a-row with a resounding victory over Carnew. Man-of-the-match Christy Moorehouse finished with six points and set up a further 1-2.

Bray started well and had 1-2 on the board in two minutes, a sweet Moorehouse pass to Paul Cunningham making the goal.

Playing with the wind in the first half, Bray continued to cut open Carnew and led by 10 points before Carnew scored their only point from play, in the 24th minute.

Padraig Doyle and Paul Cunningham hit points from all over the field. Carnew could only respond through Enda Donohoe but he hit four poor wides from placed balls in the first half to blunt his team's challenge.

Bray led by nine at half-time and Eoin McCormack hit two more to make that 11 early in the second.

The result looked known long before the final whistle was blown but Bray kept the scoreboard ticking over. Don Hyland could only get a late consolation with the last score of the match.

Both teams finished with fewer than 15 players. Bray's Padraig Doyle and Carnew's Conal McCrea were sent off on straight red cards during a late melee and Timmy Collins got a second yellow in the last minute of the match.
