Westmeath produced a blistering finish to see off a brave challenge from Wexford by 1-21 to 0-15 in Mullingar.
With 12 minutes remaining on the clock, Wexford led by two points but Westmeath finished very strongly to set up a Leinster semi-final meeting with near neighbours Meath.
It was a very close contest for an hour with neither side able to pull away from each other but Wexford were begining to shade things when Tom Cribben's men caught fire.
Kieran Martin's 58th minute goal was the catalyst as the winners hit the front and points followed from Paul Sharry and substitute Denis Glennon.
It's the qualifiers for Wexford and a daunting trip to Newry to face Down.
