Westmeath star John Heslin racks up amazing tally but fails to beat his own record

Westmeath sharpshooter John Heslin was in unbelievably good scoring form for his club side St Loman's last night.

Heslin hit an amazing 3-9 as the Westmeath champions beat The Downs by 3-23 to 0-5 to reach the county semi-final, with 2-6 coming from play and his third goal coming from a penalty.

He famously scored 2-18 in last year's semi-final victory over Garrycastle with 14 points coming from placed balls.
