All Ireland champions Dr Crokes have shared a poignant video sent to them from the father of Amy Connors, a 10-year-old fan who lifted the trophy with Johnny Buckley at Croke Park.

Amy is suffering from cancer and the Kerry club's gesture gained widespread praise when she shared Crokes' memorable moment by lifting the trophy.

Amy's Father Brendan sent a video to Crokes to thank them for what they did for his daughter.

"When you're dealing with cancer, a daily dose of inspiration can make a big difference in your outlook on life during your cancer journey," read the message, which was shared on Dr Cropkes' Twitter account.

"Being around people who inspire, challenge, and make you feel better helps brings perspective and optimism to this situation. So thanks to all at Dr Crokes for making Amy feel so special on such a big day for the club."
