Watch: Bastick v Fenton and Gilroy v Gavin: Ciaran Whelan picks his Dubs All-Ireland dream team

The Dublin manager's job might seem easier than most due to the abundance of top class talent at Jim Gavin's disposal, but narrowing down all those options to a starting 15 is as tricky a task as any.

It is tough enough to pick the current team based on all their options, but we tasked Dublin legend and Herald columnist Ciaran Whelan with an even more arduous task: choosing a dream team based on the county's All-Ireland victories in 2011, 2013 and 2015.

While some positions pick themselves - Stephen Cluxton and Rory O'Carroll played the same positions in all three victories - other areas of the team were rife with competition.

But just like during his playing days, Whelan rose to the occasion and even chose between 2011 boss Pat Gilroy and the current Dublin manager Jim Gavin.
