The Sunday Game pundit Joe Brolly has allayed fears over presenter Michael Lyster's health following his sudden heart attack last week.
His RTE colleague Joe Brolly went to visit him in hospital this morning and he told viewers the prognosis is very good. Brolly even suggested that Lyster was keen to get back on our TV screens.
"I actually went into see him this morning and I was delighted to see the nurses genuflecting as they brought him his medicine," he said.
"That heart attack had nothing to do with me.
"I should say this, I know a lot of people are anxious but he looks great, he really looks great. You wouldn't believe that he'd had a heart attack.
"He said 'I think I'll be able to do the programme next week' and you should see the look of horror on his wife Anne's face.
"He was quite serious. He looks great. It was quite reassuring to see him looking so well."
