Tynan on double for Kilkenny
A CLASSY Kilkenny CBS side were deserving winners of this very entertaining clash in Castleknock.
After Kevin Hetherton sent over two early frees, Dublin North then found the back of the net on 12 minutes when Eoghan Smyth found the top corner with a well-struck shot.
There were further points from Ciaran Smith and Pat Graves, but the home side were rocked by two Kilkenny goals.
Stephen Tynan was first to pounce for the visitors on 22 minutes, before Robbie Fitzpatrick sneaked the ball over the line shortly after for a second Kilkenny goal.
That helped them into a 2-7 to 1-6 lead at the interval and Dublin North continued to play second fiddle for most of the second half.
Kilkenny finished the game the stronger and Tynan struck for his second goal with a minute to go.
