GAA president Christy Cooney led the tributes to Mick Frawley, who passed away on Sunday.
Mr Frawley had a distinguished involvement with both Tipperary and the GAA nationally. He served as a trustee of the GAA, chairman of the Munster Council, Tipperary County Board, West Tipperary Board and Tipperary Football Board. He was also a life president of the West Tipperary Board.
He was sitting member of the Association's by-laws committee up until the time of his passing.
"I offer my heartfelt condolences to both his family and his wide circles of friends," said Cooney. "Mick's involvement with the GAA touched on so many areas and his contribution was nothing less than immense."
