The online auction, which concluded at 6pm yesterday, saw the €80 tickets for the Davin End of Croke Park go for well in excess of 12 times their face value.

The GAA have continually warned fans against sourcing tickets from touts and will continue to tackle the practice by cancelling tickets that have been sold above face value.

There was a general sale of tickets in two batches following Dublin's victory over Mayo at the GAA ticket office on Dorset Street and tickets.ie but they were snapped up in no time.

The GAA describe a tout as anyone attempting to sell a ticket at a price over its face value.
