Tomás Ó Sé reveals the brilliant response he gives when asked if he was better than Darragh and Marc
Last week saw the great Ó Sé dynasty come to an end as Marc followed his siblings Darragh and Tomás into retirement.
The trio won a combined 16 All-Ireland titles, 12 All Stars and two Player of the Year awards in three of the most illustrious careers Gaelic football has ever seen.
The Kerry legends are definite inclusions when selecting a team of the 21st century to date, but deciding which Ó Sé was the best player is an altogether more complicated task.
In his Irish Independent column today, Tomás pays a touching tribute to his baby brother, while also revealing what he tells people who ask him whether he was a better player than Darragh and Marc.
"A lot of people ask me which one of us was the best? And my answer, delivered with a wink admittedly, would be 'I've often been told I couldn't do Marc's or Darragh's job, but I'd also say they couldn't have done mine!'"
Tomás also discusses Dublin's perceived advantages and why other teams should 'stop whinging' and get their own houses in order.
