Silver spread looks decidedly narrow

IF Dublin were to win the All-Ireland senior and minor football finals next Sunday, it would result in a very narrow spread of titles across both codes this year.
Galway have already secured three (U-21 hurling and football and minor hurling), while Kilkenny have the senior hurling crown.
A Dublin double would leave all six cups resting in just three counties.
Not all that satisfactory, although it would certainly be a huge boost for Leinster football as their last senior winners were Meath back in 1999, while the last minor success was achieved by Laois in 2003.
