Kerry captain Bryan Sheehan (right) has a date in Croke Park on February 6 after leading St Mary's to an unexpected demolition job of Ratoath at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick.
St Mary's performed to their optimum and the Meath men were simply brushed aside.
Two goals in the opening half by the Munster champions - the first a punched effort by captain Sean Cournane in the 17th minute, the second by Niall O'Driscoll ten minutes later - killed off any hopes that Ratoath had.
On paper there was little to choose between the sides. In fact Ratoath stole the throw-in and Bryan McMahon pointed within 15 seconds.
But St Mary's clicked into gear and opened up a five-point gap by the end of the first quarter.
The two goals before half time left Ratoath facing a 2-10 to 0-4 half-time deficit.
The loss of captain Bobby O'Brien in the opening moments of the second half on a second yellow finished them off as St Mary's cruised to their second Croke Park final, having won the junior title in 2011.
