Sheehan inspires Caherciveen

A slick St Mary's, Caherciveen side shot the lights out in the second half to beat St Mary's, Swanlinbar on Saturday.

Swanlinbar had started the match positively and led by 1-3 to 0-2 after 15 minutes, but from that point on Caherciveen assumed control of the match.

Kerry star Bryan Sheehan was inspirational at midfield and they out-scored Swanlinbar by 0-5 to 0-1 before the break to draw level at half-time.

Corner-forward Sean Cournane always looked dangerous and he scored two fine goals in the second half to put the result beyond doubt.
