Roscommon negotiate London challenge in Ruislip to advance to Connacht last four

John Evans' Roscommon will take on Sligo in a Connacht semi-final after a hard-fought 1-14 to 0-10 win over London at Ruislip.

The impressive Enda Smith scored four points in the opening half as they led by 0-11 to 0-5 at the interval.

Three minutes after the restart Ciaran Murtagh scored a classy goal for the visitors.

London, inspired by Lorcan Mulvey, were spirited until the end, but Roscommon held on and will now face Sligo in the semi-final.

The Exiles head for the qualifiers.
