Revealed - Draw made for Round One of the All-Ireland football qualifiers
Kieran McGeeney will be looking for just a second Championship win as Armagh boss when they face near-neighbours Fermanagh in Round One of the All-Ireland football qualifiers.
McGeeney will lock horns with All-Ireland winning manager Pete McGrath knowing that he is under pressure to bring the Orchard County on a run in the qualifiers.
In Round 1A, Derry will look to avoid a major banana-skin when they visit Fraher Field to play Waterford, who narrowly missed out on a famous win over Cork in Munster.
Louth face Longford and Wicklow will clash with Laois into two all-Leinster affairs while Sligo will entertain Antrim at Markievicz Park.
Elsewhere in Round 1B, the losers of this weekend's encounter between Offaly and Westmeath will have home advantage against either Cavan or Monaghan, who also meet this week.
Seamus McEnaney must bring his Wexford side to Limerick in search of a win, while a Carlow team, buoyed by their recent heroics in Leinster, will travel to Ruislip to face London.
The qualifiers were divided into A and B sections to cut down on the waiting time for some teams eliminated early from their provincial championships.
The ‘A’ side of the draw will be played a week earlier than ‘B’. If a team from the A section make it through to the All-Ireland quarter-finals, they will play in the earlier two of the four games on the last weekend in July.
Times, dates and venues will be confirmed for these qualifier clashes later today.
In the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship preliminary round draw the winners of this Saturday's Christy Ring Cup final, either Antrim or Carlow, will play Laois.
