The Orchard county has been immersed in controversy since their defeat to Cavan in the qualifiers in a tit-for-tat row with pundit Joe Brolly.

Carlow will host near-neighbours and regular opponents Wicklow, Derry will have home advantage against either Louth or Meath, while the Round 1A action is completed by the clash of Leitrim and Waterford in Carrick-On-Shannon.

It the round 1B section, Down will look to bounce back from their humiliating defeat to Monaghan when they taken on Longford in Newry.

Limerick face a long trip to Belfast to face Antrim, the losers of this weekend's Leinster quarter-final between Offaly and Westmeath will host minnows London and Wexford Park will be the venue for the Model county's cash with either Donegal or Pete McGrath's Fermanagh.
