Revealed! Draw for Round 2B of the All-Ireland qualifiers throws up fascinating ties
The draw for Round 2B of the All-Ireland qualifiers has been conducted and it has resulted in four very interesting fixtures.
Stephen Rochford's Mayo have been drawn at home to Fermanagh in the county's first encounter in the qualifiers since 2010.
Pete McGrath's men negotiated a trick tie against Wexford on Saturday but will be big underdogs in Castlebar.
Longford caused a stir beating Down after extra time on Saturday and they will have to travel north again, and need to take a bigger scalp, when they take on the losers of the Donegal-Monaghan replay.
Westmeath knocked both Offaly and Kildare out of the Leinster championship by the minimum margin and the pair will now face each other in Newbridge for a place in Round 3.
After their shock defeat to Tipperary, Cork will face provincial rivals Limerick at Pairc Ui Rinn seeking a much-needed victory.
Limerick were drawn to have home advantage but a home and away agreement between the Munster counties supercedes that and Cork were last in Limerick back in 2010 for a qualifier game.
Confirmation of home venues, times and all dates for the fixtures will be confirmed following a meeting of C.C.C.C this afternoon.
