Aidan O'Shea's seasonal return for Mayo may be delayed as he recovers from an ankle injury.

Mayo manager Stephen Rochford had indicated after their win over Kerry in Tralee that O'Shea could be in line to step back into action when Roscommon visit for Saturday night's third round fixture. O'Shea has spent the winter playing basketball with Sligo All-Stars.

Rochford had also indicated that the Westport players, involved in last weekend's All-Ireland intermediate club triumph, would be available again which could see Lee Keegan return. But Kevin Keane has been ruled out for the season after sustaining a cruciate knee ligament injury in that game.
