Ronan O'Neill struck gold with a stoppage-time goal as Omagh claimed a sensational win in the Tyrone SFC final at Healy Park.

Carrickmore fans were preparing to celebrate a record 15th triumph after Martin Penrose had danced through for two points to put them in front in the dying moments.

Omagh launched one last desperate attack, which saw substitute Cathal McCarron pick out full-forward O'Neill, and he wriggled past two defenders to plant the ball in the net.

Penrose had nudged his side in front for the first time in the 29th minute. Omagh closed the gap with scores from O'Neill and Joe McMahon.

Carrickmore were dealt a blow when defender Johnny Munroe received a second yellow card ten minutes into the second half.
