O'Connor has the last word as Kildare beat Dublin

The O'Byrne Cup Final went to extra-time last night at Parnell Park, as Dublin and Kildare served up a game of high quality, with Kildare saving their best until last.
Niall Kelly and Johnny Doyle both pointed twice in the first half despite some solid Dublin defence.
Paul Mannion was having a fine game, and his fourth point came almost immediately after the break. Kildare responded through Paddy Brophy and Doyle again, this time on his left, before Michael Daragh Macauley ventured forward to restore Dublin's lead.
Midfielder Gary White was introduced with three minutes remaining, and with his first touch tied the game heading into injury time. Seanie Johnston was introduced but scuppered the chance to be the Kildare hero when he sent the last kick of normal time wide.
For the second of the two 10-minute halves, Kildare's Tomás O'Connor took charge, scoring 1-2 in a matter of minutes. Jim Gavin's men were shellshocked, and as frustration crept in Denis Bastick was red-carded.
