No place for Bernard Brogan as Dublin boss Jim Gavin names starting 15 to face Westmeath
There is no place for Bernard Brogan in Jim Gavin's starting team to face Westmeath in tomorrow's Leinster SFC semi-final.
With Diarmuid Connolly suspended until the end of August, 33-year-old Brogan was one option available to fill the void but Gavin has opted to leave Brogan on the bench.

Ciaran Kilkenny, Paddy Andrews and Paul Mannion start in the half-forward line while Con O'Callaghan gets the nod at full forward with Kevin McManamon and Dean Rock alongside him.
Philly McMahon missed the quarter-final victory over Carlow owing to suspension but is now believed to have picked up a hamstring injury in training during the week and he misses out.
With no Connolly until the All Ireland semi-final - should Dublin get there - former Dubs boss Tom Carr believes Kilkenny will assume greater responsibility for the All-Ireland champions and has backed the Castleknock man to one day captain the Dubs.
"I always fancied him as a leader anyway. I think he’ll eventually captain Dublin. He has that stature and composure about him."
