Murphy brace key to triumph

Scoil Mhuire, Longford 4-8 Glenamaddy CS 1-10

Scoil Mhuire, Longford were crowned champions following a comfortable win at Glenamaddy GAA grounds yesterday.

Scoil Mhuire raced into a five-point lead inside seven minutes, Aoife Darcy and Aisling Reynolds finding their range.

Elaine Murphy netted twice, the second a cracking shot into the top corner just before the break.

Glenamaddy did fight back briefly but a Darcy penalty sealed the triumph.
