Mulligan blasts Donegal to final
Donegal 3-17 Cavan 0-13
A Cian Mulligan goal in the first minute of the second half ended this EirGrid Ulster U-21 football semi-final as a contest with Donegal moving 10 points ahead against a hard-working but outclassed Cavan side.
They added a second goal from Michael Carroll ten minutes later in what was a dominant display. Cavan battled bravely but were second best all over. Donegal had the luxury of removing their big games with 15 minutes left as they coasted home with Caolan McGonigle grabbing a third goal late on.
