It was all to easy for Wexford as they cruised to a 23-point victory over London yesterday.
London enjoyed the ideal start with a goal from Sean Hickey within a minute but thereafter it turned into an uphill battle as they were completely outplayed by the slick-moving Models at Innovate Wexford Park.
The hosts were back level 0-3 to 1-0 inside nine minutes, through points from Brian Malone, Kieran Butler and a Donal Shanley free.
Wexford built up momentum with a 27th-minute goal through sub Tiernan Rossiter giving them a 1-10 to 1-1 half-time lead.
Their dominance grew on the resumption, as midfielders Daithi Waters and Colm Kehoe took total control. A second Wexford goal from Paraic Curtis after 48 minutes gave them a 2-13 to 1-2 lead.
While Wexford's attacks left some space at the back, London could only add two Adrian Moyles points, one from a 45.
Wexford kept the scoreboard ticking over adding further goals through John Tubritt and Waters.
