Tyrone manager Mickey Harte has been handed another three years as The Red Hands boss following a Tyrone County Board meeting on Tuesday evening.

52 delegates and 16 Tyrone management committee members voted to extend Harte's contract by a further three years after the Errigal Ciarán Bainisteoir guided Tyrone to an Ulster championship win and an All-Ireland semi-final berth.

A statement from the Tyrone County Board read:

"Following a meeting of the County Committee tonight, Coiste Thir Eoghain wish to confirm that Mickey Harte has been re-appointed to manage the Tyrone Senior Football team until the end of the 2020 season."
