Merry-go-round of bosses set to spin
The end of the 2009 season saw one of the smallest rounds of inter-county football managerial changes in recent times -- with only seven new vacancies emerging.
This year, we are envisaging business to be much more brisk (and more ruthless) in the board rooms over the autumn months.
A few have already indicated that this would be their last year. Wexford's Jason Ryan wants to return to playing club football in Waterford; Tommy Carr has also earmarked himself for departure once Cavan's run is over.
In Wicklow, all the indications are that Mick O'Dwyer will lift the anchor and sail on. Our rough estimates predict possible managerial change in five Ulster counties, five Leinster counties and at least two each in Munster and Connacht.
