Monaghan experienced little difficulty in booking their place in the semi-final of the Ulster U-21 championship when they proved too strong overall for a disappointing Fermanagh in Inniskeen last night.

Barry McGinn got his second point in the 15th minute to put Monaghan three up before Fermanagh opened their account through Sean Keenan and they added two more from Paddy Rehill and an Eoin McManus free to leave Monaghan 0-5 to 0-3 up at half-time.
