UUJ cruised into the semi-finals as they completely outclassed Carlow IT.
The talented Jordanstown outfit didn't encounter any real problems from a gutsy Carlow outfit, who always found it difficult to contain the rampant favourites.
Prompted by a splendid half-back line featuring Kevin Dyas, Donal Morgan and man-of-the- match Ciaran McGinley, Jordanstown signalled their title intentions with a dynamic display.
There is no shortage of class in their attack, too, as Peter Hughes, Diarmuid McNulty and Conor McManus all contributed handsomely.
Jordanstown scored 1-3 without reply in the opening five minutes, with McNulty, Dyas and Matthew Donnelly kicking points before McManus clipped an opportunistic goal.
Craig Rogers netted a goal for Carlow from a penalty in the seventh minute, but Jordanstown were in control at the interval, leading 1-10 to 1-5.
It was a similar story after the restart as they hit nine points without reply, the scores coming from Donnelly (2), Hughes (2), Niall Holly, McManus, Colm Murney, McGinley and Caolan O'Boyle.
Ben Brosnan eventually scored for Carlow in the 56th minute, but Jordanstown added another goal in the last minute, as Jason McAnulla ended a sweeping move with a smashing strike to ease the northerners into the last four.
