Chris Barrett has been drafted into the Mayo team for their sell-out showdown with Dublin in Sunday's All-Ireland SFC semi-final.

Barrett comes into the full-back line in place of Tom Cunniffe for the Croke Park clash in what is the only change to the side that beat Donegal last time out.

Cunniffe was forced off in that game with a hamstring injury.

It also means that Barry Moran retains his place in the side.

Joint-managers Noel Connelly and Pat Holmes sprung something of a surprise when they deployed the Castlebar man, who is a recognised midfielder, as a sweeper in the Donegal match, from where he helped nullify the aerial threat of Michael Murphy.

David Clarke is fit enough to start in goals after being forced off in the Donegal game with a hip injury, with Rob Hennelly held in reserve.
