Masterson episode will drive critics to Twitter

SO Anthony Masterson must say 'sorry' to referee Derek Fahy for comments passed after Wexford's controversial defeat by Limerick in the All-Ireland football qualifiers.
Now what will that achieve? Failure to apologise could leave the Wexford goalkeeper facing an eight-week ban so it makes sense for him to pen a 'sorry Derek' letter. But will he mean it? Only he knows that.
Meanwhile, the Twitter critics will escape sanction because they're not covered by rule. So guess how refs will be savaged from now on?
