Managers should read this manual

"The basis of this book is my concern that management training is not deemed worthy of consideration while coaching is the be-all and end-all."
So writes Tim Healy in his new book, 'Can You Manage,' a practical manual for aspiring GAA managers. He makes an interesting point.
Coaching courses abound at all levels, but who teaches managers? They are mostly self-taught, quite often not very effectively either.
Healy's book is published by Ballpoint Press.
It is an informative starting point for those who want to pursue team management in all its facets as opposed to coaching.
