Armagh produced an explosive finishing burst to reach the Ulster U-21FC semi-finals last night.

Shea Loye proved the Orchard County hero, bagging 2-7 in a fine performance. Loye's accuracy sustained Armagh's momentum in the first half, his early brace of being followed by three more.

Tiarnan Rushe and Ronan Millar carried the biggest threat in the visitors' attack, the former pocketing three points (two frees) while Millar and Ryan Trainor added their team's other scores. Down hit six points between the 33rd and 46th minutes before Loye took centre stage by rifling in his second goal and a point.
