Laois dig deep to edge out Louth
Laois 2-10 Louth 1-12
Johnny Kelly was the hero for Laois in Drogheda on Saturday as an injury-time point sent his side through to the Leinster MFC semi-final.
This entertaining game was in the balance right up to the end and, although Louth looked the more likely to snatch victory in a tense finish, it was the visitors who struck the decisive blow when Kelly fired over.
Although the Wee County played the more cohesive football and enjoyed greater possession they were made to pay for failing to take their chances when Kelly struck the winner in injury time.
