Mayo have been handed a boost ahead of their All-Ireland semi-final clash with Dublin on Sunday week with the news that defender Kevin Keane will be available for the game.
Keane was shown a straight red card in the win over Donegal after a tussle with Michael Murphy.
However, they refused to accept the proposed suspension and late last night the Central Hearings Committee (CHC) downgraded the sanction from a red card to just a yellow, thus clearing the way for him to play.
Official confirmation of Tiernan McCann's appeal against a proposed eight-week ban is expected this morning with Tyrone hopeful that he will be available to play against Kerry on Sunday.
