Four goals in the opening 15 minutes put this one to bed, as Athy's Ardscoil Na Trionoide brushed aside St Fintan's, Sutton at Geraldine Park.

Conor Kealy kick-started the home side's blistering run, with Daragh Conway, Brian Daly from a penalty and James Baldwin raising further green flags. The Kildare outfit led 4-7 to 0-1 at half-time and grabbed their fifth and best goal of the game five minutes after the restart.

Stephen May started a move that saw him link up with Barry Kelly and get the return pass. He jinked inside and shot past replacement goalkeeper Devon Connolly. Baldwin fisted home his second goal shortly after.

St Fintan's put some respectability on the scoreboard with late goals from Oisin Hoy, Kevin Doran and Luke Nolan, but there was no questioning Ardscoil's superiority.
