Rosenallis earned a Leinster title for Laois on Saturday as they defeated Offaly Intermediate champions Bracknagh to claim the Leinster club Junior Football title.

Played in O'Connor Park, Tullamore, Rosenallis were the better team throughout and were full value for their three-point win.

James Jackson and Colm Poole led the scoring stakes as Rosenallis had the upper hand throughout the 60 minutes.

They stormed the opening period and a goal from Jackson after 14 minutes had them 1-2 to 0-1 ahead.

They led 1-4 to 0-4 at the break, but it was a lightning start to the second-half that really put them in the driving seat.

Quick-fire points from Joseph Shelley, the in-form Poole and Jackson (free) gave Rosenallis a 1-7 to 0-4 lead within three minutes of the restart.

Bracknagh did stage a rally, but were unable to make up the difference despite a late Dillon Broderick goal in injury-time.
