Iosagain prevail in classic

A strong finish from Colaiste Iosagain, Stillorgan, helped them to the title following an exciting tussle with Holy Rosary College, Mountbellew, at Johnstown on Saturday.

The Dublin school held off a spirited fightback from Rosary to hold for a 2-9 to 1-10 triumph.

Three goals in extra-time were the key for Loreto Secondary School of Clonmel as they claimed the title over St Louis, Carrickmacross, at Johnstown on Saturday.

Shauna Ryan netted a hat-rick for the Tipperary school as they ran out 7-8 to 3-12 winners.
